Will Hrithik to pay Rs 100 Cr to Sussanne as divorce settlement?

Hundred crore seem to be hot favourite words for Bollywood. Producers have been chasing them for some years now, both for business and popularity. Unfortunately, in this case the figure fails to sketch a happy picture.

If the grapevine in the industry is to be believed, Sussanne Roshan has asked for Rs 100 crore as settlement for a divorce with husband Hrithik. Says an insider, “Sussanne has asked for an amount as alimony. She feels that she has given some of her best years to Hrithik and his family and Rs 100 crore is not a huge amount. Also, part of it will be used for their children’s education and upbringing.
Negotiations are currently on between their lawyers. Time will tell what she receives.”

On December 13, Hrithik had sent out a statement saying that Sussanne had decided to separate from him and end their 17-year relationship.

Arjun Statement on Hrithik-Sussanne separation

Arjun Rampal, who has been in the eye of the storm ever since his friends Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan announced their decision to separate a few days ago, sent out a statement to the media.

He said, "It's very sad when friends close to you take a decision to separate. These are the hardest times for them and we must be sensitive towards this decision, rather than creating speculation and rumours. I read in the news at the same time as you all about my involvement in this marriage. It saddens me deeply that rumours become inevitable when celebrities go through such times. Mehr and I wish them only peace and love through these times and support them as friends should and we wish them and their families well always."

The news of Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan's 13-year marriage coming to an end has shocked many. We spoke to her uncle, filmmaker Akbar Khan, about his views on this break-up and the efforts of the families — Khans and Roshans — to help the couple tide over this tough phase.

On Hrithik-Sussanne break-up

"Both are beautiful people. My heart reaches out to them in this tragic separation. I feel both are mature, and, within their own expression of life, have taken this decision. I hope and pray that they soon come back together, because they look so beautiful together.

These are matters between husband and wife. The intricacies of their relationship are best known to them, and we, as relatives, friends and well-wishers, can only pray for their wellness, hopefully together.

If that's not possible, then think of the family as a whole, with the children. There's nothing greater than the warmth and affection of family as a whole... not just husband, wife and children, but brother, sister, in-laws... the entire khandaan. I wish we all can contribute in keeping the family together."

On helping resolve issues, as uncle and family

"If called, I'll be the first person to step forward and give positive inputs on leading life together in the best way possible. That's my personal view, but sometimes, parents can also be helpless. More than anyone else, Hrithik and Sussanne should understand, not just individually, but also keeping in mind the children — they are the most important factors. They're growing minds; their entire lives depends on the warm love of their parents. I pray that they both get together soon and realise the mistake of not understanding each other. My heart goes out to them."

Bollywood's golden couple Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan have decided to end their 17-year-long relationship. Hrithik announced the split from his wife in a terse statement released from Los Angeles where the star is vacationing solo. It left no ambiguity about who had left whom.

 

"Sussanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17-year-long relationship," he wrote about the end of his fairytale marriage before assuring his fans that he still had "faith in the institution of marriage."

While the announcement came as a shock to his legions of fans, Bollywood insiders were not exactly unaware of the trouble brewing in the relationship. Sussanne had moved out of the family home in Juhu with their two sons about four months ago but the separation was kept a secret as the Roshans did not want anything to divert attention from Krissh 3, the child-friendly family franchise that has since gone on to make over Rs 200 crore though the producers claim larger, unsubstantiated profits.

At that time the Roshans had tried to downplay Sussanne's move out of the marital home saying she had gone to her parents' home to spend time with her ailing father. Few knew then that Sussanne moved out of Sanjay Plaza, her father's home after just ten days into her own flat in Andheri, close to the Charcoal Project the mammoth home interiors emporium that she runs.

Frantic efforts by the couple's friends to end the estrangement were in vain. Sources cite several reasons why a reconciliation does not seem possible, one of which is Sussanne's terminal boredom with her husband who, she felt, had become obsessed with his career and his undeniable good looks. The wife felt neglected.

While rumours of an open marriage has been dodging the couple for some time with names of other equally beautiful people like Barbara Mori and Arjun Rampal adding to a sizzling narrative of a marriage unraveling, the final nail comes in the form of a rather mundane familial trouble: saas-bahu friction.

Friends of the couple close to the development told this newspaper that Sussanne wanted Hrithik to move out of the family home Palazzio in Juhu but the star was not keen to leave his parents and his divorced sister. Not that Sussanne had to share a small flat with caviling in-laws. The couple had their own independent floor but the escalating tensions between the bahu and the in-laws would not be contained in that building, and culminated with a blazing row between Sussane and Pinky Mum-in-law Roshan some days ago leading to this denouncement.

Our source says, "The marriage has had it's share of ups and downs in the past when Hrithik was linked to his Kites costar Barbara Mori. Sussanne had moved into a plush five-star hotel in the vicinity saying that their home was infested with termites. But she went back home that time after Barbara returned to Mexico. But this time the cracks went deeper, particularly after their friendship with another star couple turned sour."

Sussanne who has been putting long hours at work and has been partying solo, say friends, is "seriously unhappy." She was conspicuous by her absence at the family's Ganeshotsav celebrations this year and neither was she seen at the Krrish 3 promotional events. She made a brief appearance at Rakesh Roshan's birthday on September 6 this year, citing her father Sanjay Khan's illness, but maintained a distance from her husband. The next day she flew out to Paris but didn't return to Palazzio when she came back to Mumbai.

That was when Sanjay and his wife Zarine decided to intervene. They told their daughters, Farah Khan Ali and Simone, to speak to the couple. The meetings happened at Sussanne's father, Sanjay Khan's house, Sanjay Plaza. "But the meetings were not fruitful," a friend of Hrithik's told this newspaper. Sussanne was adamant that she would not go back to live at Palazzio but by then Hrithik was in no mood to oblige her, says a common friend of the couple.

Happier Times

The acrimony is in stark contrast to the love story between the two. In an earlier interview, Hrithik, 39, had admitted that he'd known since he was twelve that Sussanne was the girl for him. They moved among the same circle of friends while they were growing up in Juhu , but at the time Hrithik was too shy to confess his feelings for her and was simply content to adore her from a distance.

Eventually Sussanne went abroad and Hrithik stayed back to chase his celluloid dreams. Then one day, while waiting at a traffic signal, he turned and locked eyes with a pretty girl at the wheel of the car next to him. It was Sussane. So thunderstruck was the young man by this momentous development in his life that he insisted it be recreated on screen in his debut film, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.

Older and more confident, especially after the film's humongous success, he now started pursuing Sussane in earnest. On Valentine's Day, he told her of his love and exactly a year later he went down on his knees on Juhu beach and proposed to Sussane in true schmaltzy Valentine Day spirit.

The couple had two sons and seemed well on their way to being that rarity in Bollywood: a happy couple. In 2011 even as newspapers were buzzing about a certain Mexican seductress, Sussane Roshan publicly declared her love for Hrithik on stage at an awards ceremony in Singapore leaving Hrithik look misty-eyed.

He was again overwhelmed when he stepped into her interiors shop one month later, on February 27, tears visible. "For 15 years, she has supported me in my career. Now I want to be her pillar and punching board," he was quoted as saying in an interview then.

Friends will vouch that the two have always been there for each other, except in these last few months when they have been leading markedly separate lives.

Many still have trouble believing that the Hrithik-Sussane love story is indeed over. Sanjay Khan dismissed the troubles between the couple. "They just need space, and this is not closure," he told PTI. While Sussane Roshan told us, via a text message: "We are two individuals who respect and care for each other and have made our individual choices. We are parents to two wonderful kids and our responsibility remains to protect and take care of them. Nothing can change that. I would appreciate if we are given our privacy in such a time."

Recently, there were speculations about the split between Hrithik Roshan and wife Suzanne. But the actor and his family rubbished all the rumors surrounding their spilt. But now in a shocking turn of events, the actor has confirmed the separation in a letter written to media.

Hrithik confirms with a heavy heart, “Suzanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17-year old relationship. This is a very trying time for the entire family and I request the media and the people to grant us our privacy at this time.

"I do not wish this news to disempower my fans and the people about the institution of marriage in any way. I am a firm believer in this institution and respect and honour it at the highest level.

"I thank my fans for all the concern and prayers for my health, my treatment is going well and I should be able to resume my life in every way very soon."

Is Hrithik no longer present in Suzanne’s life ?

What went wrong between the ideal couple of tinselville, Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Roshan still remains suspense for all but it is almost confirmed that Hrithik is no longer present in Suzanne’s life. The couple has called it a quit to their 13 year long happy married life. Hrithik and Suzzanne are blessed with two sons, Hridhaan and Hrehaan.

The crack in their paradise came in to public glare during Rakesh Roshan’s last birthday but their marriage was going through a rough patch even before it. The couple is said to be living separately for four months. Off late, it was heard that hunk will move to a new abode and Suzanne will live with the Roshans.

Suzanne and Hrithik were not spotted together for a long time. She did not stand beside Hrithik when ‘Krrish 3’ made a grand success and when the superhero left for the US for treatment to cure headache, Suzanne was absent from the entire picture. In fact, a close friend of the hunk accompanied him to the US, informed by Rakesh Roshan.

What’s most striking is that the 39-year-old actor will not present at the launch of his wife’s luxury concept boutique while close pals of Suzanne insists her to postpone the launch for Hrithik to come back from the US.

News is also doing the rounds that the couple is planning to legally end their relationship. They have filed for divorce.

Hrithik is ready to launch his own clothing brand

Hrithik Roshan is surely riding high with the success of his film ‘Krrish 3’ and now the actor who is known for his good looks and fashion sense, will launch his own casual wear brand titled HRx.

The brand will signify fitness and fashion, something that Hrithik has always been associated with. The title HR, relates to Hrithik’s initials and 'x' has attached to it, which as per the actor signifies extreme.

The 39 year old actor is the first hero to step in the line of clothing brand while his contemporaries and seniors have mostly been associated with fragrances.

It is also learnt that the brand promises to give high quality at affordable rates.

Krrish 3's gross collection has crossed Rs. 500 crores

While some media reports allege that Hrithik Roshan-starrer 'Krrish 3' box-office collections have been inflated, director Rakesh Roshan begs to differ.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh rubbishes these reports and questions the intentions of trade analysts who are saying that the box-office numbers quoted by the director are gross and not net.

He further explains that he has been getting updates from all his distributors, exhibitors and from places where the film is running right from the first day itself. The process is detailed and full-proof.

Questioning the authenticity of those articles, Rakesh tells Bollywood Hungama that it is impossible for anyone to exaggerate an amount of Rs. 40-50 crores. There is no way one can inflate box-office collections.

According to his calculations, Rakesh Roshan quotes that Krrish 3 has finally made Rs 500 crore. He says if you calculate entertainment tax and everything else, then Krrish 3's gross collection has crossed Rs. 500 crores.

Hrithik will take time to recover from recurring headaches

Actor Hrithik Roshan, who underwent a brain surgery some months back, says he will take time to recover from recurring headaches that have resurfaced.

Hrithik, who is basking in the success of his superhero flick 'Krrish 3', has decided to take some time off before he starts shooting for his upcoming films.

"I am extremely overwhelmed by the tremendous support and love extended by everyone to 'Krrish 3'. Before I get ready to resume the shooting of my next, 'Bang Bang', in early January 2014 and later 'Shuddhi', as both are physically demanding, I will be taking some time off to recover completely from the recurring headaches that have resurfaced in the last couple of weeks," Hrithik said.

"I am confident that your love and prayers will heal me completely. I wish everyone a great end to 2013 and a fabulous start to 2014," he said.

In 'Bang Bang', Hrithik will be seen opposite Katrina Kaif and for 'Shuddhi', he is teaming up with Kareena Kapoor Khan after a long time.

The actor was suffering from subdural hematoma caused in the brain as a result of a head injury he suffered while performing stunts for 'Bang Bang' earlier this year. He successfully underwent a brain surgery in July this year to remove a clot.

Hrithik Roshan will be off to the US for another surgery?

If you think Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is basking in success of 'Krrish 3', then you're wrong.

The superstar has been facing medical woes for quiet some time. And if sources are to be believed, he will be off to the US for another surgery as he has had a relapse following a brain surgery that was done to remove a blood clot from his brain.

A Mid-Day report says that Hrithik has decided to go to the US as he has had a relapse. The actor was getting severe headaches for some time and hence has decided to go to the US for proper medical care. His sudden departure will affect the shooting schedule of his two upcoming films Shuddhi and Bang Bang.

The report further says that while the shooting form Hrithik-Katrina-starrer Bang Bang was to begin from November 27, shooting for Shuddhi was to commence from first week in December.

This change in schedule has put Katrina Kaif in a quandary as her other films Phantom and Jagga Jasoos are also on the floor at the same time. Hence, it will be difficult for her to accommodate her dates later for Bang Bang. It is for this reason that she even spoke to Roshans if Hrithik could postpone his trip, but they said that they could not take risks with his health.

However, Rakesh Roshan has denied these allegations that Hrithik is going to the USA.

Krrish 3 which released just before Diwali on November 1 has grossed Rs 235.22 crore net so far at the Indian box office and Rs 269 crore net worldwide. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Krrish 3 Weekend 3 breakup: Fri 2.44 cr,Sat 3.02 cr, Sun 3.76 cr. Grand total: Rs. 235.22 cr nett. All Time Blockbuster… All versions.” Earlier this year, Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express broke 3 Idiots’ record to become the highest grossing film. While it took four years for a film to break the record of Aamir starrer, Hrithik’s film took over in no time. However, there is a possibility of Mr Perfectionist regaining the top spot with his much-awaited film Dhoom:3. The film has already created great buzz and who knows it may well end up raking in Rs 300 crore and create more records. After all, sequels are doing wonders at the box office, it seems, hai na?

Whether Dhoom:3 breaks Krrish 3’s record is yet to be seen. but for now, papa Roshan and beta Hrithik can enjoy all the adulation, succes.

Bollywood Superhero Hrithik Roshan Booked the Flat

The couple seems to be determined to prove all such reports rumours of a divorce between Hrithik Roshan and his wife as false.

According to a report the superhero of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan has purportedly bought a  4,500 square feet flat in Bandra which is worth of Rs 25 crore. And Hrithik shares that flat with wife Suzanne Roshan and rumours is said to be a joint property between couples.

Hrithik Roshan had booked the flat six months ago when it was under construction and the couple has also visited the place a couple of times reportedly.

Bollywood Star Hrithik Roshan Hypnotize his Student Fans in Singapore

Hrithik Roshan with his father Rakesh Roshan made a  two day trip to Singapore on 21st and 22nd of September because 'Krrish' movie holds a special connotations for the city.

Many scenes in the film were shoot in the city Singapore and  Hrithik Roshan visit at a Global International School - where he embellished (decorated) of Gandhiji statue and also replied to students questions where a student asked him question which subject is most hated by the Hrithik in school time and He replied: "I hated history because I felt what is the importance of the incidents in the present. But now when I do films and that films create an history I realise it is important."

Another student asked him about spending time with family and Hrithik said, "I know I am busy but it is important to make time for family because they are more important to me than anything else and my sons would have been joyed to see how the students of Singapore dance on my songs."

Hrithik Roshan danced with his school students  fans and broke into a jig on his popular number 'Raghupati Raghav' of his upcoming movie in 'Krrish 3'.
