She is the younger daughter of great actor Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kapoor. Her brother ,who is older, name is Siddhanth Kapoor. She is also a niece to Bollywood charming actress Padmini Kolhapure. Shraddha Kapoor did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School which is located in Juhu area. As we know that she is the daught of Actor Shakti Kapoor, So Acting was in her blood. She went Boston, did theatre studies from Boston Univedrsity, which is well know in the world.

The movie Teen Patti didn’t do well in theatres and her role also was not noticeable by audiences. After did great acting in Luv Ka The End, Which is feminist film, people admired her work. She got Stardust Searchlight Award For Best Actress in 2012 for her role in this film Luv Ka The End and she has become the star of bollywood. Recently, Her new movie, Name is Aashiqui 2 released in theatre, The movie is romantic, Sharddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor are in lead roles. Movie is doing very well in terms of business.
