Deepika’S brave step to meet Salman Khan in front of SRK

Recently Deepika Padukone was shooting for her next flick ‘Happy New Year’ with Shah Rukh Khan at Mehboob studio. And in the same studio on another set was SRK’s rival Salman. While now a day’s stars go to each other’s set and meet & greet each other but ofcourse SRK and Salman didn’t do that.

However, in presence of SRK, Deepika took a step forward and went on to meet Salman. She was there for around half an hour and bonded well with Salman, with whom she will share screen space in Rajshri Productions ‘Bade Bhaiya’.

A source says, “Deepika is aware that even though they have called truce, things are far from fine between the two Khans. So it was really brave of her to leave her set and go on the ‘enemy’ set. She went across to meet him when there was a tea break in the evening where Salman was sitting outside his van. Even though HNY director Farah Khan is a good friend of Salman’s, she stayed away from him as her hero was on the set.”

“Salman has been praising Deepika to a lot of people. In fact, on a chat show where he went recently he expressed great admiration and respect for her as an actress. It is obvious he is keen to work with her,” the source added.

While Deepika has taken this step of leaving her set and going to the Salman’s set, we are thinking that what SRK has to say about it?

Deepika and Priyanka will appear on the fifth episode of Koffee With Karan season 4

Why did Karan Johar rope in Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone for Koffee with Karan 4?

A smart chap once said that heroines cannot be friends, but looks like that smart peep had not met Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra before making that statement. Yes, it may be hard to digest, but believe you us, Deepika and Priyanka who are Bollywood’s two competing heroines are real good friends.

And their friendship doesn’t just extent to blowing kisses in the air and exchanging warm hugs at events, but also being there for each other. Recently we saw how Priyanka did a special item number in Deepika’s film Ram-Leela for their friendship goes beyond silver screen. The Exotic babe even made sure she didn’t miss Ms Padukone’s Race 2 screening. That’s not all. During an award show, DP and PC were seen chatting animatedly and the candid shots didn’t just get raised eyebrows in the media but also got onlookers wide eyed.

And now these two dusky beauties will make a joint appearance on Karan Johar’s popular chat show – Koffee with Karan 4. And as we know, when Karan brings two guests together, he has a strong reason behind it. Last season KJo got Priyanka and her ex-beau Shahid Kapoor on the couch.  And how can we forget that episode when Deepika along with her ex Ranbir Kapoor’s previous girlfriend Sonam Kapoor made an apperance together where they had so much to bitch about Ranbir. Both these episodes had their ouch moments, hai na? And this time around, Karan has managed one heck of a casting coup. So what is the reason behind bringing Deepika and Priyanka together on that couch, you ask? One reason possibly could be the friendship between Dippy and PeeCee. As we mentioned earlier, it’s very unusual to see two competing share a great bond. Also not to forget that much before the world knew about Ranbir-Katrina Kaif relationship, it was Priyanka who had spotted the lovebirds bringing in the New Year together in New York. Moreover DP and PC are Karan’s best pal Shahrukh Khan’s heroines. We can only wonder what the hot topic of discussion would be about…

Only Karan can answer why he picked these two dazzling stars, will we see more Ranbir banter or will it be the trio discussing their bestie SRK? We just cannot wait to watch this one.

Rani Mukerji Play Role a Chulbul Pandey in ‘Mardaani’!

By now you know Rani Mukerji has got only one film in her kitty, and that’s Mardaani, to be produced by her beau Aditya Chopra. In the movie, she is going to play a daring cop, and she might take inspiration from Bollywood’s famous character Chulbul Pandey, enacted by her good friend Salman Khan.

Will Rani do a Chulbul? The actress admires Chulbul Pandey, and in one of the episodes of Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan - Season 3, she had even mentioned that she would love to play the role of a female Chulbul in a film. With Mardaani, she looks set to fulfill her dear wish.

It’s reported that the actress will even dedicate a song to Salman Khan and Chulbul in Mardaani, and it’s being said that since Salman is close to Rani, he may just join her in the song. Yes, a cameo looks on the cards as Salman Khan hardly says no to his friends.

After the star did Ek Tha Tiger with YRF, his equation with the production house has changed considerably. Though he is yet to sign another film with the banner, YRF is quite fond of the star, who gave them their first 100-crore blockbuster.

While Rani is preparing for Mardaani, there is still time for the movie to go on the floors. Reports of her impending marriage with Aditya Chopra are also floating around. Apparently, the marriage is planned for February, and that’s the reason why Rani Mukerji is not signing any other film.

Another heroine who is a big fan of Salman’s Chulbul Pandey avatar is Kareena Kapoor. Recently when Kareena made an appearance on Bigg Boss, she expressed her desire to be the heroine in Dabangg 10, and even gifted the movie’s script to Salman, though all was in good humour.

Aashka Goradia’s ravishing look in a fusion-saree at International Emmy Awards

Guess who made a style splash at the International Emmy Awards this year? TV actress Aashka Goradia, who has earned her fame by playing vamp in Indian daily soaps, was in New York to attend the International Emmy Awards as a juror. Yes, the gorgeous actress officially represented India on a global platform at the awards.

For the event, Aashka Goradia chose a fusion saree and looked every bit regal and resplendent. Kudos to her for picking a unique saree which was especially designed for her by the designer sisters Riddhi and Siddhi, known for their brand MapxencaRS.

The black-and-white saree had an embroidered off-shoulder corset, and tied to it was a striped peplum which gave the outfit an edgy feel. What we like more about the dress was its flowing pallu that swept the red carpet, thus bringing a sense of drama.

No doubt, Aashka Goradia’s ensemble looked an exciting combination of a gown and a saree. A messy updo, and black danglers completed her look for the big day.

Aashka was even a part of the jury panel last year, but she couldn’t attend the awards because of her participation in Bigg Boss 6.

Will Saif Ali Khan’s Bullett Raja join in the Rs 100 crore club?

Tigmanshu Dhulia recently said in an interview that Bullett Raja is his most commercial film till date. While the film has a stellar star cast and Dhulia is known for making meaningful movies, will his latest offering impress the audience and rake in the moolah?
Bullett Raja starring Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Jimmy Shergill is all set to hit the theatres. What’s interesting is that with this film both director Tigmanshu Dhulia and actor Saif are venturing into a genre that isn’t their forte. While Kareena Kapoor Khan’s hubby is known for pulling off romantic comedies with panache, Tigmanshu believes in realistic cinema. So will they be successful in establishing themselves in the massy entertainer space with this one? Will Bollywood’s fourth Khan enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club which these days is considered a must-do for a film to be declared a hit?

Exhibitor-distributor Akshaye Rathi says, “Bullett Raja looks like an out and out entertainer. It’s one of those films that appeals to the masses and at the same time cannot be branded as a ‘mindless entertainer’. Going by his record so far, Dhulia has made films that have been intelligent and entertaining at the same time. With good music, superb dialoguebaazi and an interesting star cast, the film stands a good chance to score well at the box office!”

Though Bullett Raja may make a lasting impression, the Saif starrer may not cross the century mark in the numbers game. “It may or may not be able to breach into Rs 100 crore club because of the November clutter at the BO, but it should surely draw good box office numbers and acclaim,” points out Rathi.

When we recently caught up the Nawab he agreed that Bullett Raja is unlikely to gross Rs 100 crore, considering Dhulia’s films are more niche. Whether Saif’s prediction comes true is to be seen, but we are glad that the talented actor is moving away from romcoms and is more open to do some experimentation.

Check out ‘KAMASUTRA 3D’ Trailer, which rather disapponting

There was a lot of buzz around this upcoming movie ‘Kamasutra 3D’. The posters of the film really generated a lot of excitement in audience, but here comes the disappointing trailer of the film.

As, from the first day when the movie was announced it was known as a passionate love saga, but in the trailer we can’t see passion nor love neither a saga. What we see in the trailer is, some men who are half naked on a ship fighting vulgarly. After few minutes comes in Sherlyn Chopra who hardly gets any scope in the trailer. And we would like to know what is she doing with the tree? Milind Gunaji is looking promising, while no other actors get any scope.

We are really not sure what to expect from the movie as the trailer itself is so damn confusing.

Behind The Scenes - Dhoom:3 - Shooting in Chicago

Vijay Krishna Acharya talks about shooting in the metropolitan with the film’s cast

The third installment of Dhoom series, Dhoom:3 starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra is certainly one of the most awaited film of the year and it’s all set for release at the end of the year. While there are several speculations that the story has been lifted from some Hollywood film and to know if that’s true or not, you’ll have to wait till December 20. But as you wait, you can have some fun watching behind the scenes of Dhoom:3.

Well, director Vijay Krishna Acharya says, “My film showcases the city (Chicago) quite well. I would have liked more of the city in the film but I think enough is there.” The cast and the crew shot in Chicago for three months. So, we are sure there will be enough of the city in the film. We just hope there’s enough action delivered by Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. In the video, Aamir looks quite hot in the body-hugging black tee which flaunts his six-pack abs. Whether he’s posing with his fans and his inseparable hat or shooting while riding a sexy looking bike, the actor looks quite promising, as always. We hear that this is the first time he’s shot for a film in Chicago.

The action scenes in the film have been shot right in the heart of downtown Chicago. And whether it’s Aamir clinging onto a helicopter or riding a bike or a motorboat, we’re getting more n more excited for the film.
