Nasreen Munni Kabir will write 77-year Waheeda Rehman's life on paper. She has already written the story of A R Rahman and Gulzar before. And she got permission from the actress Waheeda and also she is a close friend of her.

Nasreen Munni Kabir is a London-based author, she is also popular TV broadcast on Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Guru Dutt to her credit. Waheeda said, "this was Nasreen's idea and I just said yes to the book that which shows  many highs and lows of my long career.

Waheeda strictly told Nasreen to go ahead with the book only about his career not with her personal life.  Kashvi Rekhi Waheeda's daughter,  confirmed the news, saying, "The book is being planned soon she will face interview with my mother, for sharing his experiences of her career with about her films."
