Ram-Leela is an upcoming romantic-drama movie. Movie is directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Bollywood Actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone sharing the screen and playing main lead role in the film. Ram-Leela film is an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo and Juliet. The film scheduled to be released on 15 November 2013.
The story of the film is set in Gujarat. The film shot in Gujarat but some sequences of Ram-Leela were shot in Udaipur particularly at Udaipur palace and Gangaur Ghat.
Rumors are first Bollywood Actress Kareena Kapoor was signed for the movie by the director then later due to some reason she repleced by the actress Priyanka Chopra then she was also repleced due to some reasons by the director of the movie. Then later Actress Deepika Padukone was selected for the movie by the director as well as by Actor Ranveer Singh on August 2012. And Actress Priyanka Chopra was confirmed for a special song in the film.
Actor Ranveer Singh is playing a role of Gujarati boy, had to learn some Gujarati abuses and also work hard in the gym to gain his muscle for his character in the film. The first look of the film shows Padukone sporting a 30 kg ghaghra with a 50 metre 'ghera'.
