Aaradhya Bachchan's fairytale birthday party in Pratiksha

Aaradhya Bachchan turned two on November 16 and her proud parents celebrated the day in their own special way. Instead of holding a big bash, Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan arranged a private party with people close to them.

According to a source who attended the do, the theme of the birthday party was fairytale. The bash was held at Pratiksha, which was decorated with flowers, balloons and pink, green and yellow lights for the big day. The invites, which had Aradhya inviting her tiny tot friends, were sent in a pink bucket full of colourful candies.

"In the evening, the lights came on, the bungalow looked liked a fairy tale castle as the lights on the trees were of shapes of characters from CBeebies and Teletubbies and Tinker Bell, The Carousel, etc. Going with the theme, the cake also had green, pink and yellow shades. There was a bubble spewing machine and huge cut outs of butter flies," adds a guest.

Proud mother Ash seemed busy with the proceedings while everyone else was making merry.

Hrehaan and Hridhaan Roshan with their dad Hrithik, Viaan Raj Kundra with mum Shilpa Shetty, Nysa and Yug Devgn with mum Kajol, Saira Bhupathi with mother Lara Dutta, Azad Khan with mother Kiran Rao and many more.

"Aishwarya was personally looking after each and everything and all the arrangements were done by her. She was complimented by some mothers present for the grand arrangement. Each child went home happy armed with a personalised return gift keeping their ages in mind," said the source.

Wishing Many Many Happy Returns of the Day : Sushmita Sen, happy 37th birthday

Born on November 19, 1975, Sushmita Sen started her film career in 1996. The Bong babe has always maintained in her interviews that if not for her mum, she wouldn’t have made it to where she is today. Kareena Kapoor Khan : I would now love to act with the youngest

From SRK, to Salman to now, Imran Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan has worked with all the Khans in the Hindi film industry. The actress, who said she wants to act till the last breath of her life, also said her one desire now is to share screen space with the youngest Khan, Azad, Aamir and Kiron's son.

"I have worked with all the Khans in more than one film, which means I have a good chemistry with all of them. With Imran too, this is my second film. As far as the Khans are concerned, I would now love to act with the youngest, Azad. I hope I get the opportunity to work with him too," said Kareena while addressing a press conference. Kapoor was here in connection with the promotion of her film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein with Imran Khan. Kareena, who will be seen playing a social activist in the film, said, "In my last film, which was Prakash Jha's Satyagrah, I played a journalist. And now I am playing a social worker who raises her voice against social problems. It's a tough job to play such characters."

Only a week after this film releases, Kareena has another release lined up. That will be Bullet Raja featuring her hubby Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. On being asked about the competition between their films, she said, "I don't see any kind of competition between my film and Saif's film. Mine is a complete family entertainer while Saif;s film is an action-thriller."

Upcoming Bollywood Film "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" releasing on 22-November-2013

'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' is an upcoming bollywood  romantic comedy film. Film is written and directed by Punit Malhotra. Produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.

Bollywood Queen Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan  with co-star Imran Khan are in the lead role in the movie. New comer bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor who starts her bollywood career with the film 'Aashiqui 2' is in supporting role in the film. Music of the movie is given by the Vishal & Shekhar. Movie is scheduled to be release on 22nd November 2013.

At first, the movie was announced in the year 2011, but it was delayed due to issues of casting. The movie was offered to actress Sonam Kapoor with co-star actor Imran Khan. But then Imran leave this project due to script issuse because he was unhappy with the script. Then Director Punit decided to offered this film to Shahid Kapoor. But actor Shahid Kapoor also have same script problem, and then later actress Sonam Kapoor left this project because actress sonam didn't want the public to think she was doing this film due to her relationship with the director punit.

Then actor Imran Khan returned to the project, and actress Kareena Kapoor was signed as the lead actress. Later Bollywood New comer actress Shraddha Kapoor joined the project in a supporting role. At first for an item number in the film actress Nargis Fakhri had been signed, but later due to shooting conflicts, actress Esha Gupta replaced her.

Bollywood actor Imran's wife Avantika , also featured in the film 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' in a half-second flash. In Imran's movie Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, I Hate Luv Storys and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu Avantika has also featured in this three films of Imran khan and the actor admit that his wife  brought good luck for his films.

Sushant Singh Rajput says Ankita and I get married very soon, probably in the next few months.

Bollywood's latest flavour Sushant Singh Rajput is on a roll these days. The newbie, who has got good projects in hands, has decided to tie the knot with his girlfriend Ankita Lokhande in a couple of months.

Sushant and Ankita recently moved into a brand new home in Malad.

"We moved into a new place on November 11. It's much more spacious than our old home. I've my own room for a home theatre and that's a big thing for me. We're planning to get married very soon, probably in the next few months. We've living in together for four years. Marriage seems like just a natural progression," said Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant Singh Rajput says Ankita is not as ambitious as he is. "She is doing very well on television and she was offered a couple of very big films. But they didn't work out. She's very happy in her space. I also want to be secure and happy in what I am doing, just like her."

Didn't his girlfriend Ankita recently slap him in public view? Sushant chuckles in genuine amusement. "Do you believe what you read and see? That isn't the only baseless story doing the rounds. There was another story that I had a spat with someone in the gym. Initially I used to get affected by these stories. But then I started looking at the criticism philosophically. I rationalised it by arguing that all the good things that are happening to my life and career have to be balanced out with the glitches. That's life. If you want a rose garden they come with the thorns. I know Ankita didn't hit me. But what's the point of clarifying when the damage is done? I guess this is the minus side of getting full credit for the success of a film even when you know there are many other factors that contributed to it."

Anil told reporters : Bharat Ratna to Sachin a great send off

government`s decision to confer master blaster Sachin Tendulkar with Bharat Ratna, the country`s highest civilian honour, and says it is a great send-off.

"I was very happy when I came to know that Sachin (Tendulkar) has been honoured with Bharat Ratna. I think he is the well-deserved Indian for the award," Anil told reporters at the first look launch of 3D mythological film "Mahabharat".

"He is one of the greatest Indians. As a sportsman, he is the greatest. He is the greatest cricketer of the world. I think it is a great send off and nothing could be greater for a sportsman who has dedicated his life honestly and truthfully to the game," he added.

Sachin bid adieu to international cricket after playing his 200th Test at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai last week.

The 40-year-old made an emotional speech before the packed Wankhede Stadium and paid respect to the game he loves by touching the turf of the ground where he made his Ranji Trophy debut in 1988.

Anil, who got an opportunity to meet Tendulkar personally, is floored by his down-to-earth attitude.

"I have been very, very fortunate to have met him, spend some time with him, spoken to him. He is a very down-to-earth, very, very understanding. He has become more humble with the success coming his way," he said.

Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh starrer Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela becomes fifth biggest opener of 2013

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has proved to be a crowd puller. Though the film was in a bit of trouble because of its title, that hasn’t affected its box office collections so far. After getting off to a great start, Bhansali’s desi version of the Romeo and Juliet story continued to attract audiences on the second day too. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Ram Leela continues to win hearts. Saturday Rs 17.5 cr. Total so far: Rs 33.5 cr nett. Expect a bigger total on Sunday.” The movie has collected approximately Rs 52.75 crore in its first weekend.  Thanks to Dippy and Singh’s solid performances, great music and brilliant cinematography, Bhansali’s film has managed to impress audience and critics alike. But will it enter the Rs 100 crore club?

Exhibitor-distributor Akshaye Rathi says, ” Ram Leela has taken a very good start at the box office. Having virtually no competition at the cinemas, the film got a good number of shows that allowed it to score great numbers. The music and Deepika’s current popularity level deserve maximum credit for the amazing weekend the has had! While 100 crore is a slightly ambitious target for Ram Leela, the possibility cannot be written off! A lot will depend upon how the film sustains on Monday.”

While Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus is enjoying a superb run at the box office, Kangna Ranaut’s Rajjo which released on the same day, failed create any magic. “Rajjo on the other hand did virtually nothing at the box office. With absolutely nothing that could draw the audience to the cinema for it, the film was poised to with this fate right since the 1st trailer was launched,” points out Rathi.

Besides being Ms Padukone’s third biggest opener this year, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela is Ranveer’s biggest so far. Though the film has garnered rave reviews and is going rock steady at the ticket windows, it may have a tough time in the coming week, as Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (Imran Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan) and Singh Saab The Great (Sunny Deol) are set to hit the big screens.

Actress Shraddha Kapoor's look in upcoming movie 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' has been revealed

The 21-year-old star is seen dressed in a traditional South Indian white saree paired with a red-golden blouse and she completes the look with a bindi, traditional neck piece, earrings, mangtika and gajra.

Shraddha plays the role of Vasudha in the film which stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.

Her new look from the movie was posted by film's director Punit Malhotra on Twitter.

"Here's presenting Vasudha... The very beautiful Shraddha Kapoor," posted Punit.

The snap shows Shraddha getting engaged to Imran, who essays a South Indian boy named Sriram in the movie.

'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' will hit the theatres on November 22.
