Actress Divya Dutta, who played Milkha Singh's sister role in 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' which was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Divya Dutta impressed many peoples with her powerful performance in the film. And she feels the film deserved to be shortlisted as India's official entry for the Academy Awards this year.
The story of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' is based on the life of former athlete Milkha Singh and the leading role of Milkha Singhwas played by the actor Farhan Akhtar. From both critics and the audience it is huge praise.
Divya told reporters, "there are many film like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, The Lunchbox, Ship Of Theseus which are shortlisted for Oscar Award but I think we deserved but it didn't happen." But Divya is happy for her Gujarati film "The Good Road" which has been chosen as for the best foreign film at the Oscars.
Divya wish luck to the films selected for the National Award and said,"I am wishing The Good Road all the very best. We are showing country India with the help of this film so I would like to wish for this movie."
