Kareena Kapoor Khan had recently said that she hasn't watched much of Hindi cinema lately, including her cousin Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi, because her husband Saif Ali Khan refuses to see Bollywood films.
When asked the reason for this, considering both of them are Bollywood stars, Saif conceded that he has stopped watching all films. Stating that he doesn't like watching Hindi films or Hindi entertainment channels, the Bullett Raja actor explained, "I don't like watching television after coming from work and seeing the same thing. You have to refresh and recharge and then come back with something fresh. I don't think you really learn anything new by watching each other's movies."
Further, he said that he learns more by watching an American TV show. "Part of being an actor is exposure and that is what educates us. You travel the world, you meet new people, do new things and your approach to a shot changes. I don't think we should be too influenced by other films and actors here. There is no growth. Of course, it is good to be aware of what people are doing, but it has never mattered to me," he summed up.
