2013 is all set to end soon and the year proved to be extremely prolific for the bollywood industry. 2013 saw many films making huge business at the box-office and a few films even managed to cross the much-hyped 100cr club, and reached the brand new 200cr club.

1: ‘Dhoom 3’

Cast: Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Katrina Kaif

The year finally ended with a ‘Dhoom’. ‘D3’ has collected Rs. 233cr in just a few days and the film is still running strong in the theatres. This flick will surely break the box-office records and that’s why it has reached the No. 1 position in our list.

What was Good: ‘Dhoom 3’ is the most stylish thriller made till date. Aamir Khan’s acting was mind-blowing and Kat’s Kamli act impressed the audiences.

What was Bad: The length of the movie is big and even the music was not that impressive. Screenplay could have been better as it fails to keep us hooked. Even the chasing sequences are too long.

2: ‘Krrish 3’

Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut

Slammed by critics but still ‘Krrish 3’ managed to collect Rs. 240cr and has reached to the second position in our list.

What was Good: Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s acting was superb in the film. Both the actors were surely one reason that the movie did wonders at the box-office. The VFX in the films were amazing.

What was Bad: Rakesh Roshan failed to impress the audiences with his direction. Even the songs were disappointing and picturization of the songs were pale.

3: ‘Chennai Express’

Cast: Deepika Padukone, Shahrukh Khan

At number three, we have Rohit Shattey’s ‘Chennai Express’ which collected Rs. 226cr at the box-office.

What was Good: ‘CE’ was a full-on Rohit Shetty style action comedy. Deepika Padukone’s South Indian accent and SRK’s innocent acting impressed everyone very well.

What was Bad: Storyline of the film and the screenplay could have been better. Few things looked unrealistic and even the music was not that great.

4: ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’

Cast: Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kalki Koechlin

At the fourth position we have ‘YJHD’ with the collection of Rs. 179cr.

What was Good: ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ had a different kind of freshness in the direction of Ayan Mukherji. The film saw ex-flames Ranbir & Deepika coming together onscreen after their break-up and their chemistry worked wonders for the film.

What was Bad: ‘YJHD’ had nothing new when it comes to story. It looked a mixture of many other romantic films.

5: ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’

Cast: Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone

With collecting Rs. 113cr, ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ has landed up to the fifth position in our list.

What was Good: ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ had a lot of positive aspects working in its favour. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s story telling style, music of the film, performances of the actors and the aesthetic element of the film were some of the biggest positive factors of the film.

What was Bad: The film was just stretched on one point with no sensible backdrop and the length could have been cut short. The love story which was told to be passionate had no logical romance except for kissing.

Shah Rukh Red Chillies VFX may work on Salman Khan's Kick

Ever since the release of Krrish 3, Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies VFX has been garnering a lot of appreciation for their visual effects in the super-hero flick. Thus, it won't be surprising, if the company is brought on board for several other films as well. Buzz is that Red Chillies VFX may work on Salman Khan's Kick, though there's no confirmation on this front as of now. This Salman Khan starrer film helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala has been in news for a while, it is currently in midst of a marathon shooting schedule in Panvel.

Now with there being a minute possibility of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan working together in a film, at least Kick would be instrumental in getting them together offscreen at least. As of now though, Salman is shuffling between the shoot of Kick and Sohail Khan's Jai Ho. In the meanwhile, Red Chilies VFX, is working on Farah Khan's Happy New Year as well.

Krrish 3's gross collection has crossed Rs. 500 crores

While some media reports allege that Hrithik Roshan-starrer 'Krrish 3' box-office collections have been inflated, director Rakesh Roshan begs to differ.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh rubbishes these reports and questions the intentions of trade analysts who are saying that the box-office numbers quoted by the director are gross and not net.

He further explains that he has been getting updates from all his distributors, exhibitors and from places where the film is running right from the first day itself. The process is detailed and full-proof.

Questioning the authenticity of those articles, Rakesh tells Bollywood Hungama that it is impossible for anyone to exaggerate an amount of Rs. 40-50 crores. There is no way one can inflate box-office collections.

According to his calculations, Rakesh Roshan quotes that Krrish 3 has finally made Rs 500 crore. He says if you calculate entertainment tax and everything else, then Krrish 3's gross collection has crossed Rs. 500 crores.

Will Aamir Khan’s Dhoom:3 be the first film to break Krrish 3’s box office record?

Hrithik Roshan’s superhero film has re-written box office records. The movie surpassed the collection of Chennai Express and is now Bollywood’s highest grosser of all time. But with Dhoom:3 around the corner, we wonder if Krrish 3 will be able to retain its top position…

Rakesh Roshan’s sci-fi superhero film starring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi has shattered all domestic box office records. Krrish 3 which released just before Diwali on November 1 has grossed Rs 235.22 crore net so far at the Indian box office and Rs 269 crore net worldwide. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Krrish 3 Weekend 3 breakup: Fri 2.44 cr,Sat 3.02 cr, Sun 3.76 cr. Grand total: Rs. 235.22 cr nett. All Time Blockbuster… All versions.” Earlier this year, Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express broke 3 Idiots’ record to become the highest grossing film. While it took four years for a film to break the record of Aamir starrer, Hrithik’s film took over in no time. However, there is a possibility of Mr Perfectionist regaining the top spot with his much-awaited film Dhoom:3. The film has already created great buzz and who knows it may well end up raking in Rs 300 crore and create more records. After all, sequels are doing wonders at the box office, it seems, hai na?

Whether Dhoom:3 breaks Krrish 3’s record is yet to be seen. but for now, papa Roshan and beta Hrithik can enjoy all the adulation, succes.

After Hrithik Roshan's superhero film Ranbir will do superhero film it will be different from the film 'Krrish 3'

After Bollywood Actor Hrithik Roshan's superhero film "Krrish 3 "Bollywood Actor Ranbir Kapoor will also do superhero film and his director-friend Ayan Mukherjee will direct the film. Ranbir is so much excited to do a superhero film but rumors are that will be totally different from the film 'Krrish 3'.

Yet the project is untitled but Ranbir will play a superhero in the film. Ranbir said, "It will be fantasy film and it is different from the film Krrish 3. My Director-friend has just started the script writing. We both share a great personal and professional relation."

He said,"Presently we are on the initial stage in which we are developing script, For post production course Ayan is going abroad. But soon we will connect and try to come with different  and new."

After the hit of movies 'Wake Up Sid' and 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' this is the third film of Ranbir and Ayan. Ranbir is always want to analyze himself by playing different roles in films.

Ranbir Kapooor said, "Bombay Velvet is an upcoming film in which I am playing a role of  boxer in the film. At the end of the next year I will start this new project with Imtiaz Ali's film and Ayan Mukherjee's superhero film. I will start this film by end of next year. I always like to do different roles like in the movie "Besharam" I played a vulgar tapori role."

Ranbir said about doing Action film that, "From last six years I have been trying to make my body muscular like an other Actors for action movie but it is not happening. I can't so action film till I don't get perfect fit and muscular body for the action film. But I always believe action comes from the way you express from your eyes and also the way you work for it instead of look or body."

Most Awaited Bollywood Movie 'Krrish 3' Preponed from 4th November to 1st November

Viewers most foresee and preferred movieof the year 'Krrish 3' which was earlier planned to release on November 4 this year has now preponed to November 1.

'Krrish 3' film directed by Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra are playing main role in the movie and it is the 3rd film of 'Krrish' sequence. Verifying the release date, Komal Nahat film trade analyst tweeted, "Very right decision taken from director Rakesh Roshan side. Krrish 3 movie will hit screens on Friday (Nov. 1), instead of Monday (Nov. 4) as originally planned."

Kangana Ranaut Said : Getting Right look for Upcoming Movie Krrish 3 was Challenge

Actress Kangana Ranaut,  will be seen in a negative role in the upcoming movie Krrish 3, said that getting the look right for the character was a daunting task.In the film, Kangana will be seen sporting a black colour body-suit designed by Gavin Miguel. Kangana had to shed over 4 kgs to fit into the suit.

The team also designed heavy, structured, tail-like hairstyle, which had movement. They also had to get the shoes customised and without heels.

"Sporting such a look has been extremely challenging for me... Apart from being chic and flexible, we needed a look that wasn't attempted before in Bollywood. Though a lot of hard work went into it, it was all worth it since the feedback has been overwhelming," Kangana said in a statement here.

Designer Gavin worked with director Rakesh Roshan on the look and design of the outfit that was structured and customised to suit Kangana"s body.

Krrish 3, a superhero film, will have Hrithik Roshan reprise the title role, while actor Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut will be seen in negative roles.
