Who Will be the ‘HOTTEST VEGETARIAN CELEBRITY’ of 2013?

Nominees for the PETA’s ‘Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity’ of the year is announced and ever since the nominees were posted for the contest, ‘Race 2’ hottie Jacqueline Fernandez and ‘R... Rajkumar’ star Shahid Kapoor, have been raking in the votes. Other celebs who are running the race well are Vidyut Jammwal, Amitabh Bachchan, R Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Kareena Kapoor and Vidya Balan.

Jacqueline first made an impression around the world when she was crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka. She then shot an ad for PETA calling for a ban on horse-drawn carriages. The actress recently met the Mayor of Mumbai to ask him to shut down unlicensed horse stables. Fernandez also became vegetarian last year, and this year, she went vegan for Lent. Even Shahid who was named as PETA Asia-Pacific's Sexiest Vegetarian Man 2011 and PETA India's Sexiest Vegetarian in 2009 starred in a sizzling ad campaign for the organization.

"These stars prove that being vegetarian is super-sexy", says PETA India Manager of Media and Celebrity Projects Sachin Bangera. "There's no easier way to put passion into your life than to put compassion into your diet."

PETA India will announce the winners who will be selected based on several factors, including vote count in January.

Sonakshi Sinha’s new photoshoot for L’Officiel’s December issue truly shocked us. No, it isn’t anything to do with her glam avatar or even the bold western outfits (what would papa Shatrughan Sinha say!), but the way she looked. We know that the Bullett Raja actor has been working hard to lose weight, but the images in the magazine are obviously treated. Sonakshi Sinha’s broad frame has been transformed to a lean mean avatar, and her face has acquired a new sharpness, all thanks to the magic of software and the wiggle of the mouse, We’re sure Shotgun’s little daughter must be mighty pleased at having achieved a look that she hasn’t gotten even close to in real life, but we wonder what Papa Sinha will say to her dare-bare photos and to anyone who comments on them. ‘Khamosh!’, perhaps?

But Sonakshi isn’t the only one to have sought solace in this magical world of manipulation. Parineeti Chopra, who is also known for her not so slim frame, recently shot for Vogue’s Gen Next issue – and we must say she did manage to come close to her contemporary Alia Bhatt in appearance. Parineeti managed to look fragile and, oh – we didn’t miss her awesome new jawline! Finally she did get a taste of cousin sister Priyanka Chopra’s look, even if was with a little help from technology.

Vidya Balan is known today for her voluptuous figure. The Dirty Picture heroine tried very hard to fit in to the Bollywood heroine mould; but after she failed miserably at that and won the prestigious Nariyal award for her efforts, better sense prevailed, as did her bond with designer Sabyasachi Mukherji. Vidya took the simple yet logical route and won a new accolade – as the ‘female Khan’ of the Indian entertainment world. But she was not averse to a little…err…fine tuning when it came to being photographed for magazines.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been under the scanner for ages now for not losing her happy mummy look. The grapevine insisted that Ash was losing her status in B-town thanks to her blooming figure, but Mrs Bachchan Jr was happy playing the doting mother to Beti B Aaradhya and did not care about who was saying what. But some of the poundage was shed and the endorsements started pouring in. Who is this new Jasoos in town

Vidya Balan is turning a detective in her next flick ‘Bobby Jasoos’. The shooting of the film started on November 23rd 2013 in Hyderabad.

The film has a strong star-cast with Vidya in lead and others who join her are; Ali Fazal, Arjan Bajwa, Anupriya, Supriya Pathak, Tanvi Azmi and Kiran Kumar amongst others.

And here we get you the look of Vidya from the film. The actress is seen in a totally different avatar and being so graceful she handles the beard look well.

Talking about the film Dia Mirza, the producer of the film says "The idea of Bobby Jasoos was born over a year and a half ago! Today, blessed with an ideal cast and fantastic crew we are ready to roll and nothing gives me more pleasure!!! The actors have been busy in workshops, readings, look tests and their enthusiasm and excitement is palpable. Ali Fazal : It will be challenge and fun to romance with Vidya Balan in 'Jagga Jasoos'

Ali Fazal says it would be fun yet challenging to romance Vidya Balan on screen.

Ali is known for '3 Idiots' and the recent 'Fukrey'. Now he has been signed up opposite Vidya for 'Bobby Jasoos', produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sanghvi.

"I am playing the lead with Vidya. We will have a 'hatke' love story. We are doing workshop together... she is fantastic actor. I am not scared to romance her, it will be fun and challenge. Hope we will have a great chemistry. I am looking forward to it," Ali told PTI.

"The script is beautiful, pairing up Vidya and Dia producing the film were the reasons for me to do it," he said.

Vidya plays a detective in the film, who, while working on a case, falls in love with a young guy, played by Ali.

Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan offered special trailer screening for upcoming film 'Dedh Ishqiya'

Vidya Balan has been offered a special trailer viewing of Dedh Ishqiya by the makers of the sequel to the 2010 hit film 'Ishqiya' in which Actress Vidya Balan played the main lead role.

This is the sequel film will be release on 10  January next year, this is a romantic story between individuals caught in a web of crime, suspense, passion and deception and dishonesty. While the male leads have been kept same, but the main lead actress were changed and new addition are actress Madhuri Dixit and Huma Qureshi.

Vidya had collect a lot of appreciation for her performance in Ishqiya as the gritty Krishna but due to the nature of the sequel, she could not continue with the same character.

But film Producers Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures and Shemaroo Entertainment have decided to show her the trailer of the film 'Dedh Ishqiya' for her best wishes.

Moved with the salute, Vidya said she would love to be part of the trailer launch. But since the trailer launch is not an event so the producers have decided to show her the trailer before going official.

Mansi Maroo of Shemaroo said, "Actress Vidya Balan has been most loving and Good-natured  and very keen to watch the trailer and even offered to attend the trailer launch but as we are first launching the trailer on the Facebook instead of the ordinary launch in a theatre we have offered to hold a special trailer viewing for her at her place."

In the film 'Ishqiya' Vidya had played the lead role with two leading Actors Khalujan (Actor Naseeruddin Shah) and Babban (Actor Arshad Warsi) to a merry dance. While in Dedh Ishqiya the dangerous romance will be played out with Begum Para (Madhuri) and Muniya (Huma).

Director Abhishek Chaubey has been directed the film.

Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan selfish about 'me time'

Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan is busy with film shootings and promotions or brand endorsements and all. Vidya admit that she is selfish about "me time" after she is tied up with film shootings and promotions or brand endorsements.

Vidya told Repoters that, "Every night before going to bed I am selfish about my 'me time' Just want some time to unravel. May be it is talking with my family or diary writing or listening to music or doing nothing, this helps me to be relax."

Vidya who is now 35 year will be seen with co-star actor and director Farhan Akhtar in the upcoming film "Shaadi ke Side Effects" in the next year on the big screen. Recently, She borrowed her voice in the animation film "Mahabharat" for the character of Draupadi.

Role of 'Jasoos' Vidya Balan will Play in her Next Upcoming Movie 'Bobby Jasoos'

Actor-turned-producer Dia Mirza with her boyfriend Sahil Sangha producing upcoming detective drama movie 'Bobby Jasoos'. The 'Jasoos' role will be played by Vidya Balan in the movie.  Under  Born Free Entertainment banner film will be produced and almost two years has taken to finalise the script according to Dia Mirza.

Dia Mirza said, "Vidya Balan will play the role of a lady detective and she was our first and the only choice. Script wasn't written keeping her in mind, as we knew she is the most suitable actress to play this role and also she is on the top these days.

Bobby Jasoos is a human story with romance, comedy and thrill. Vidya will play role of Bobby is not a character that wears but she will not seen wearing leather pants and handles machines like other detectives and also she will not kick some serious butt in the film. It's is a story more about how she uses her intelligence investigation with interest and eagerness to become a detective."

Hyderabad is a city where Dia Mirza was born and film is also set and grew up in. There are  peoples who has lived there for a long time they only have some details about city. Music director Shantanu Moitra and Swanand Kirkire are join hands again for the film 'Bobby Jasoos' and giving best music to the film. Music of the film is very interesting and the four of them previously worked in 'Parineeta'(2005) and 'Lagey Raho Munnabhai' (2006).

However, Dia said about her marriage with Sahil, "the film might push the date of marriage further". she laughs and said, "we have been planning to get married since years, but now but it may get postponed to late 2014.
