"I want to be in a relationship but now, I don't want to get serious," confesses Salman Khan on Koffee With Karan, that kicks off tonight

Behind The Scenes, Beneath The Sheets is the tagline of Koffee With Karan's fourth season and no points for guessing that it's going to be spicier than before.

As Karan says, "It's going to deliver all of the excitement, glamour and gossip it always has, but on a much larger scale this season."

Thrilled to be kicking off the show with Salman Khan as his first guest, KJo says, "I think viewers are in for a real treat this time around."

The usually elusive Salman was at his candid best, with his offbeat sense of humour. When asked why it took him so long to feature on the show, he told Karan, "Because of the questions you ask. I am very uncomfortable answering them."

He also commented on his love life at Karan's behest saying, "I want to be in a relationship but now, I don't want to get serious."

Salman also spoke of the rapport he shares with his contemporaries and who he deems among them to be his competition. And, in some context, even demonstrated to Karan how he sleeps at night!

Premiering on December 1, at 9 pm on Star World, this season of 'Koffee With Karan' will as usual have a star-studded guest-list and a new set along with a host of new guests. The icing on the cake is the kick-off episode which will star Salman Khan.

Often known for his witty antics, Shah Rukh has revealed his crazy side on the show frequently. The actor had once fallen asleep on the couch during the shoot of the chat show. its normally Karan's bestie Shah Rukh who is the star of the first episode. 

Salman who loves to be funny on camera did something similar during the first episode shahrukh did. Looks like someone has taken over Shah Rukh's place this time but we are sure any kind of resemblance may be purely coincidental!

Deepika and Priyanka will appear on the fifth episode of Koffee With Karan season 4

Why did Karan Johar rope in Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone for Koffee with Karan 4?

A smart chap once said that heroines cannot be friends, but looks like that smart peep had not met Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra before making that statement. Yes, it may be hard to digest, but believe you us, Deepika and Priyanka who are Bollywood’s two competing heroines are real good friends.

And their friendship doesn’t just extent to blowing kisses in the air and exchanging warm hugs at events, but also being there for each other. Recently we saw how Priyanka did a special item number in Deepika’s film Ram-Leela for their friendship goes beyond silver screen. And as we know, when Karan brings two guests together, he has a strong reason behind it. Last season KJo got Priyanka and her ex-beau Shahid Kapoor on the couch.  And how can we forget that episode when Deepika along with her ex Ranbir Kapoor’s previous girlfriend Sonam Kapoor made an apperance together where they had so much to bitch about Ranbir. Both these episodes had their ouch moments, hai na? And this time around, Karan has managed one heck of a casting coup. So what is the reason behind bringing Deepika and Priyanka together on that couch, you ask? One reason possibly could be the friendship between Dippy and PeeCee. As we mentioned earlier, it’s very unusual to see two competing share a great bond. Also not to forget that much before the world knew about Ranbir-Katrina Kaif relationship, it was Priyanka who had spotted the lovebirds bringing in the New Year together in New York. Moreover DP and PC are Karan’s best pal Shahrukh Khan’s heroines. We can only wonder what the hot topic of discussion would be about…

Only Karan can answer why he picked these two dazzling stars, will we see more Ranbir banter or will it be the trio discussing their bestie SRK? We just cannot wait to watch this one.

Koffee With Karan Season 4 starts December 1, and the first guest on the show has been revealed. Yes, it’s Salman Khan chatting with Karan Johar over a cup of coffee. This will be the first time when Salman gets candid on a talk show. 

The promo starts with Karan Johar putting a question to Salman. The host asks: “It took me many years to get you on this couch? Why have you resisted coming?” To which Salman Khan says, “The questions you ask are too personal, and I feel shy and a bit uncomfortable”. Hearing this, Karan frowns.

Since Karan as the host manages to get the better of his guests, he further grills Salman Khan, even talks about his exes. The promo also shows Karan’s famous rapid-fire round which left Salman blushing. The funny moment of the promo was when Salman said, Kuch bhi bolta hai yaar… yeh aadmi. Did the superstar give himself up to the witty questions of Karan? We will see!

The new season of Koffee With Karan also has a new setting. This time the host has got a classy house-like backdrop to make his guests feel comfy.

For this season, Karan Johar is trying to rope in the “never-seen-before” pairs on his chat show. It’s been reported that in Salman Khan’s episode, the actor will be joined by his father Salim Khan. Karan has also managed to get the star cousins Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor on his show.

So, after Salman Khan, who’s next, Karan?

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan In Karan Johar's Next Film

Two of the three newbies, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, who made their debut with their Karan Johar's Student Of The Year will be back on screen together soon. Karan, who is currently producing films with debutant directors with the aim of encouraging new talent, has locked one more project. The film titled Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania will be helmed by debutant Shashank Khaitan and Varun and Alia have been signed for this venture.

Karan who is quite excited to work with his 'students' again, declared that the film will be a fun, warm and a crazy love story and it will be extensively shot in Punjab.

While the film is yet to go on floor, the release date of the film has been finalized on June 27, next year.

Imran Khan said : Kareena and I have good chemistry

Bollywood actor Imran Khan has described his upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein as one of the most fun work experiences that he has had till date.

"For me this is the most fun film. What makes it special is the chemistry and interaction between me and Kareena (Kapoor Khan). That is what makes the film stand up," Imran told PTI.

"Kareena and I have good chemistry. I think we look good together. Part of the reason is because inherently we understand each other as actors," said Imran, who is in the UK capital to promote the film alongwith with his leading lady Kareena.

The romantic comedy film has been directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.

Imran said the film is aimed at younger couples and the family audience.

"Karan likes his films to reach out across the audiences and he likes to make his films family friendly. You can watch it with your parents and parents can take their kids to watch it," he said.

Imran also revealed that the film was shot in many locations. "The first half is primarily shot in Bangalore where the romance begins. The second half was shot outside Bhuj in Gujarat, then Wai outside Pune in Maharashtra and then in Film city. It was a difficult film to shoot. We were shooting outdoors in the peak of summer in May and June - it was over 45 degrees every single day.

Kareena said that working in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has been a wonderful experience and she is happy to reunite with Imran after Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.

"People spoke a lot about our chemistry after Ek Main... I hope in this film also it comes across well because it is very different from what we played earlier. This is a lot more earthy, rusty and desi," Kareena said.
