She debuted in bollywood film Nishabd opposite Amitabh Bachchan,which was released on 2 March, 2007. Due to her great perfomance in this Movie, she was nominated for Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

The young Bollywood celebrity, who was born in New York, brought up in London, was discovered hanged at her luxury suite in Mumbai last night. Jiah Khan authentic name was Nafisa Khan.
