Ranbir Kapoor, who is known for his lover boy image because of the kind of roles he has done so far, is set to surprise the audience with a brand new image for his next, Bombay Velvet.
The actor is gearing up to get tougher for his role in the film, reveals a source. The source says, "Ranbir will be seen portraying an intense character that requires him to get a strong physique. He has worked a lot on transforming his body to fit the bill. The first shooting schedule of the film, taking place in Sri Lanka has been completed."
The team, we're told, now gears up for the next schedule of the film which is slated to begin in January. The source adds, "In the meanwhile, Ranbir has already begun his workout sessions to achieve his new look." Ashwinder Singh, who has been training Ranbir says, "We are working out twice a day with a mix of strength and conditioning. There is a lot of martial art training and kick boxing involved too. We have altered his diet to put on lean mass and have pushed him beyond his limits."
