Sanjay has been granted a month-long parole
Sanjay Dutt, who is currently serving the remaining 42 months of his five-year jail term for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, was granted a month’s parole again. Dutt had applied for parole to take care of his ailing wife Manyata Dutt. But interestingly, Manyata who is supposedly ‘ill’ was spotted at R…Rajkumar’s screening on Thursday hosted by Shahid Kapoor at a studio in Juhu, which was attended by Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur, director Ashutosh Gowariker, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, and Sunil Lulla, MD, Eros India. Later Manyata along with Lulla, Shahid and Ayushmann, went to Lulla’s home to celebrate his wife Krishika’s birthday. So can we say that Sanju baba misled the officials on Manyata’s health?
Meanwhile, a group of Republican Party of India (RPI) activists demonstrated outside the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune today, protesting against the release Sanjay on parole. Waving black flags and banners, the RPI activists shouted slogans demanding that Dutt should not be granted parole and must be treated at par with any other prisoner.
