1975 Bollywood film 'Sholay' is coming in 3D version which was scheduled to release on Bollywood megastar Big B's 71st birthday on Friday, but now is postponed to be release in January 2014. Because the director and makers wanted a "four-week window" for the film. The film is directed by Ramesh Sippy.
Presenter of the movie Sholay Jayantilal Gada said, "We have request cinemas to give us a four-week window. So presently we are currently in busy with talk with cinemas for a date in January."
The film is very significant for the makers, who have spent three years on the 3D project.
Film director Gada added, "Sholay is an old film. We don't want to surge and scramble to cinemas for a one-week window because it is not like a new film which gets a big opening."
Stars Amitabh Bachan was played role as Dharmendra's friend Jai, Dharmendra was played role as Veeru, Dazzling and radiant actress Hema Malini played the airy and frothy role of Basanti and the late Amjad Khan who was played exemplary role of villain Gabbar Singh are in the film.
