Nasreen Munni Kabir is a London-based author, she is also popular TV broadcast on Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Guru Dutt to her credit. Waheeda said, "this was Nasreen's idea and I just said yes to the book that which shows  many highs and lows of my long career.

Waheeda strictly told Nasreen to go ahead with the book only about his career not with her personal life.  Kashvi Rekhi Waheeda's daughter,  confirmed the news, saying, "The book is being planned soon she will face interview with my mother, for sharing his experiences of her career with about her films."
